The owners of The Oriental Theater are proud to bring another beautiful historic theater back to life!!  Scott Happel, Andy Bercaw, and Peter Ore have been working hard since January of 2024 to make this project happen, and current plan is to be open in September of 2025.

It is our intent to bring an incredibly varied program of both National touring and local live music, comedy, wrestling, burlesque, podcasts and more, just like The Oriental Theater.

Proudly locally owned and fully independent, The Federal Theatre will join The Oriental Theater in bringing Denver the best in live entertainment!

ADA Information

Our theatre is accessible, and does include a wheelchair accessible restroom.  There will be a designated ADA section for every show with seating for those that require it.

For those that are not ADA, but do need seating, our balcony, which is not wheelchair accesible, will be seated for the vast majority of our shows.

Parking

Like all of Denver's historic theaters, we do NOT have a parking lot.  We strongly recomend utlizing services like Uber/Lyft.  We also have a bus stop on Federal directly infront of the theater.  If you do drive, there is neighborhood parking for many blocks around the theatre in all directions.

Parking in ANY of the business parking lots near the theatre WILL likely end up in your vehicle being towed.

We understand this is not an ideal situation, but it is exactly the same as The Oriental, Gothic, Ogden, Bluebird, Filmore, and Summit as well as other historic venues in Denver.
