On Saturday, October 11, 2025, Denver’s music community will unite for Rock Against Violence, a benefit concert at the historic and recently renovated Federal Theatre. Proceeds will go directly to support victims, families, and the Evergreen High School community following the recent tragedy via the JeffCo Schools Foundation.
The event will feature performances from four standout Colorado bands, including Hatrick (90s alt rock), The Original Pranksters (The O spring tribute), Last Day (Volbeat tribute), and Sabotage (Beastie Boys tribute), plus a special performance by Evergreen High School student Judah Cox, whose original song has already touched hearts across the community.
“This isn’t just another concert,” said Jackie McClue, founder and organizer of Rock Against Violence. “I’m a mom, and I’m heartbroken and angry because this keeps happening. Our kids deserve better. Music has always been where we go to heal, to scream, to feel seen. Music is medicine. And right now, it’s how we come together and push for change. Everyone is stepping up, the venue, the promoter, our insanely talented bands, and our community. When people respond like this, it reminds me we’re not powerless. We can actually do something. And we are.”
